Donald Trump came into power to among other laudable projects aggressively push the “America first” fixation. In his inauguration speech, he enthusiastically proclaimed, “From this day forward, its going to be only, “America first.” America first refers to a foreign policy stance in the United States that generally emphasises isolationism (wikipedia). As relating to foreign policy, Trumps “America First” policy is purposed to achieve an international isolation of the United States.
According to a foreign policy analyst, Klaus W. Larres, Trump’s “America First” vision has three primary strands: disengaging the u.S from global politics, disdaining allies and befriending autocratic leaders. His ideology in which American citizens are given first priorities in welfare and privileges, was also seen in his immigration policy like Muslim immigration ban and refusal to grant admission to asylum seekers. All these were intended to isolate America from the rest of the world.
Unfortunately, president Trump governed at a time when the rulers of the world are unrepentantly promoting the unity of nations, and tending towards a unity government (One World Government), which is expected to help promote globalisation and end political and economical inequality amongst nations and thus promote global peace and unity. Little wonder President Trump never got the applause of the world leaders and aides seated at a United Nations assembly when he boasted about his presidential accomplishments, and endeared world leaders to his nationalist ideology.
Take a read at what he said, “Like my beloved country, each nation represented in this hall, has a cherished history, culture and heritage, that is worth defending and celebrating, and which gives us our singular potential and strength. The free world must embrace its national foundations. It must not attempt to erase them or replace them,” He further enthused, “The future doesn’t belong to globalists. The future belongs to patriots. This populist ideology may have fuelled his victory as the 45th President of the United States, but certainly not the to the admiration of the international body.
One of Trumps goal was to achieve and sustain a balanced trade that is fair and reciprocal, and such that would favour Americans first. He didn’t want international entities to trample on the rights of the America citizens, or enjoy privileges that should be Americas. In his closing remark to the UN general assembly, He closed by imploring his fellow world leaders to tap into nationalism, telling the audience “patriots see a nation and its destiny in ways that no one else can.” He further said, “The love of our nations makes the world better for all nations,”
And issuing a challenge to his counterparts, he said, Join us in the most fulfilling mission a person could have, the most profound contribution that anyone can make: Lift up your nations and cherish your culture, honor your histories, treasure your citizens, make your country strong and prosperous and righteous, honor the dignity of your people and nothing will be outside of your reach.” For his skeptics, the “American first” ideology with its mix of nationalism, unilateralism and xenophobia, would only will only make the world worst.
For Trump, immigrants should stay in their countries if they cannot abide by the laws of America, which under his government was to favor America and Americans first. This didn’t go well with lots of people who are immigrants, intending citizens, or asylum seekers, and as such they voted him out.
46th US President, Joe Biden
I think one of the reasons Trump lost the 2nd Term bid was because his ideology is not in tandem with the agenda of the world leaders who are divinely acting out the prophesy of the End time. No doubt he’s got noble plans, one of which was to extol the fear of God and promote godliness, a foundation on which America was built. But, by divine permission, he was not to continue to promote his unpopular ideology. What must be must be. The world is running to its completion. Sadly, some of those landmark vetoes shall soon be over-turned by Joe Biden.
Donald Trump has left the White House. Joseph R. Biden has become the 46th President of the United States, with the mandate to unite Americans, and make America great again. The Democrats have returned to the White house; Joe Biden has return to The White house as American President. He will be President of ALL AMERICANS!

Sometimes the pains I feel about some dead persons comes from the concerns that they were unable to transit with their wealth and accomplishments. Even though worldly achievements are temporal and vain, it is a defense to those who have them. Yet, such a defense cannot still prevent death which is the highest common factor of man.
When I heard about the death of Robert Mugabe, I was moved with pity, but more importantly I was disappointed that he couldn’t resist death like he fought to rule over Zimbabwe as President for 37 years. I had wondered that perhaps if he was not pressured to resign, he might still be alive.
The 93 years ex-president of Zimbabwe would have live much longer to enjoy the fruits of his labor for which he has worked since he served as the first prime minister of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 1987 and then as President from 1987 to 2017
The longest serving President, Robert Gabriel Mugabe, as of August 2016 was world’s oldest and one of the longest serving Head of State. His achievements are huge; he is the most educated President the world has ever seen. His literacy pride and those of millions of Zimbabwe’s is undoubtedly worthy of commendation. But of what advantage will this be to him in his grave?
I seriously think [muɡaɓe] shouldn’t have died. He should have still remained the President of Zimbabwe for as long as he could resist death. He should have imprison death and make himself an undying god over Zimbabwe and the world, seeing that he was able to continue ruling even when it was obvious that he has lost his strength and vigor. What a shame?!

The leader of the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF) since 1975, and a father of four was a revolutionary leader who gave the West and the so called “white skinned” a rough criticism and apparent hatred for western control and colonialism.
One of his major achievements was taking lands from white colonizers and giving it back to its original owners, the formerly disadvantaged black people. He constantly stood up to western powers and Western propaganda (including sanctions) has failed to achieve its objectives of destabilizing the country under his rule.
Whilst I am sober about the demise of the 93 years old dictator whose 37-year rule was characterized by gross human rights violations, and greed, I’m very much concerned about many wealthy and influential political big wigs who have turned themselves into political gods and strongholds. Those who believe they are the godfathers of politics and that no one can attain any political office without their approval.
They are defiant and power-drunk; they pursue only their interest and are ever ready to get rid of any obstacles on their path by any means whatsoever. They don’t mind to subject their citizens to hardship and sufferings because they want to remain in power.
Many, like the Syrian President, Bashar Al-Asaad, have destroyed their country’s political and economic structure because of their power obsession. What will become of such power-drunk when they die? What would become of their wealth and accomplishments? Do they ever consider that life is vanity, and vanity upon vanity? Do these tyrants ever worry about losing control someday? Search me!
A day in which they would close their eyes in death and those they have afflicted and oppressed would scorn their helpless bodies and trampled upon their graves!? You wonder too? Yes, what happens to the riches amassed by selfish and ruthless leaders when they are consumed in death?
If we think we can ignore God in our lives and treat God’s creation with contempt, we should remember that life is as brief as the flower that flourish in the morning and dies in the evening. Life is brief no matter how long we live.
God is always the first on the scene and also the last to leave. God doesn’t play hide and seek game. He’s not remote; he’s near. We can’t get away from him. Therefore, let us draw near to him and live for him—for by so doing, we will be fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.
Another Icon of African politics is gone; Robert Mugabe has completed his trade in the market of life, whether he has done good or bad, God will judge. May his soul Rest In Peace.

Where were you 17 years ago? Where were you when the deadliest terrorist attach by the Al-Qaeda extremist group hit the United States. Where were you on September 11, 2001 when the whole world panicked at the devastation of the World Trade Center and the unfortunate destruction of hundreds of lives?
I remember, I was in my hostel at the university when the event was announced. I didn’t get to watch the news on the Television because there was non around me at that time, neither was I able to browse the web because the internet was scarcely in use at the time.
It was much later that I was able to learn the devastating effects of this dastardly act perpetuated by the Osama Bin Laden led Al-Qaeda terrorist group. The September 11 (9/11) attack were a series of four coordinated terrorist attaches by the Islamic terrorist group Known as Al-Qaeda against the United States of America.
The location of the attacks were the World Trade Center (WTC) New York, the Stonycreek township, and Arlington county. The attacks which included aircraft hijacking, suicide attack, recorded total number of 2,996 (2.977 victims and 19 hijackers) deaths. The victims were members of different nationals including Africans, Asians to mention a few.
This terrorist attack defined the president George W.Bush administration, and consequently triggered the United States initiatives to combat terrorism. The attackers which were reportedly sponsored by the Saudi fugitive, Osama Bin Laden, were said to have acted in retaliation for America’s support of Israel, its involvement in the Persian Gulf War as well as its continued presence in the Middle East.
The response of the United Sates to the September 11 attack was instructive in President Bushe’s televised address a day after the attacks. He Said, “Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot sent the steel of American resolve.”
Ten years later, Osama Bin laden, the mastermind of the 9/11 attack was tracked down and killed by the U.S Seal at his hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Seventeen years after the terrorist attack, the United States and the entire world continues to fight against insurgence and terrorism which continues to threaten our peaceful coexistence.
The United States continuous defends of Israel and other Allies continues to generate resistance and enemies from the Middle East and this is not sure to stop until the end of the world.
If the death of Osama was thought to be the end of Terrorism, the terrorist and wars going on in all part of the world has proven that hatred, inhumanity, wars and rumors of wars are all signs of the end time, and an indication that the world is approaching its limit in a matter of time.
If all these things would be, what manner of man you ought to be!? There’s no amount of peace talks that can bring peace to this world. Tragedies, famines, wars and afflictions are are to abound but those who put their trust in God will survive this world that is destined for destruction.
As we continue to hope for a safer world, our heartfelt prayers goes to the families of those who lost loved ones at the unfortunate events.
Where do you stand? Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His night. We are winning! Yea, we are winning!
They are here again! See them at the workshops; the political situation is heated up now and the table seem to be turning against their plots. Look at the political god-makers; they have gone into overtime production, crafting new models of politics, making and deploying new strategies, employing substitution and elimination methods, and plotting graphs to achieve their self-seeking agenda.
See how they are moving and changing camps; friends are becoming enemies and enemies are turning friends. They say to each other, “let’s just do this for the interest of our democracy. Let’s unite to defeat our common enemies, and establish our dominion yet again.” But, we know that, soon after they achieve their aims, they will go in their different ways and pursue their personal agendas.
In every polity, there are those who call the shots; they are the pioneers, initiators, shakers and movers of the political terrain. Some of them are called kingmakers or god-makers having constituted themselves as political gods in their locality. We are not strangers to their schemes; we almost know what’s next on their agenda, even though we seem powerless to undue their manipulations.
Political Decampment
By their influence, they determine the political atmosphere of their territory either by crook or by hook. Those who gets nominated to contest elections as well those who wins the elections are determined by these political god-makers.
They don’t ever want to lose an election, so they muzzle up resources; they buy up the consciences of their followers and continue to endear many gullible persons to their sides.
In a random street interview, Mr. Pius, an artisan, was asked about his opinion on vote buying. He wasn’t hesitant to say that if he sees a good offer he wouldn’t mind to get paid to vote for the highest bidder. Trust me, his response is reflective of many potential voters whose interest is in the immediate financial gratification.
For Pius, Nigerian politics has not benefited many Nigerians, and it is useless to believe in the promises of our politicians. ‘Therefore, whatever I can get in the immediate, I will accept since am not sure of what the future holds’, he enthused. Truth is, we are fed up with the recycling of politicians, tribalism and zoning of national leaders that only promotes individual and regional interests! All we are asking for are caring, selfless and visionary leaders who would take us out of the miry clay of poverty and underdevelopment and put us at par with developed nations, irrespective of political affiliations.
We need leaders who will not only be proud they have provided us water, roads, free lunch, power and what have you, but servant-leaders who would exceed expectations and execute innovative programs that would make our country an envy in the commonwealth of nations.
We don’t want to continue to live with failed and unfulfilled promises, manifestos and agendas that are only pronounced during election campaigns and on the pages of Newspapers. We have circled this mountain too long and we refuse to be deceived any further. We no longer want to be named among the corrupt, the extremely poor, the desperate, or the unfortunate nations. We are a land flowing with milk and honey and we want to eat of the good fruits of the land.

When it was recently published that Nigeria has overtaken Indian in poverty index as the country with most extreme poor people in the world, the Nigerian government immediately dismissed this facts as it is their custom to refute unfriendly criticism which in their opinion seeks to undermine the development efforts of the government.
When India was ahead on poverty index why did the Nigerian government not say that the report from the Bookings institution was false? Why did we not refute the report that Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa, even though our unemployment rate is on the rise?
But my query is, what evidence can the government show as their effort to eradicate poverty—partial rehabilitated roads, unfair ban on importation of staple foods, provision of inadequate security, zero unemployment or fight against corruption? In spite of the policies that are said to be introduced by past and present administrations, why is 50% of our population still rated extremely poor? Search me!
