Today is July 15th, World Youth Skills Day, and it marks the 5th edition of our organization’s skills acquisition program. It’s been an exciting journey empowering young people with various skills. This year, we organized training in Data Analytics and Content Writing, with over a hundred participants registering for the course.

But it didn’t end there. We also held a Soft Skills training session facilitated by Agbons Igiewe, the CEO ZIZA Digital The importance of soft skills cannot be overstated, as many employers and clients prioritize these skills when hiring. Research shows that while technical skills might land you the job, soft skills will help you keep it and advance in your career.

World Youth Skills Day highlights the crucial importance of equipping young people with the skills needed for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship. To contribute to this mission, we organized a three-week training program aimed at revolutionizing our world through skill development. However, due to the determination and dedication of the participants, the training extended to a month and three weeks. Our facilitators, Jeremiah Okai (CEO Justtek Consulting ) and Best Akindele(CEO @_bestlines ), were dedicated to every session despite the change in plans.
