What does your dream cost? Is your dream that expensive to want to die for it, or is it so cheap and insignificant that you can let go at the scare of failure?
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.” –T.E. Lawrence.
When dreams are left to die, life becomes a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. The burial ground they say, is the most fertile for unfulfilled dreams. I reckon that the one thing that can incapacitate a man from making his dream a reality is the fear of failure.
“When you have a dream that you can’t let go of, trust your instincts and pursue it. But remember: Real dreams take work, They take patience, and sometimes they require you to dig down very deep. Be sure you’re willing to do that” –Harvey Mackay
Success is not cheap. It is expensive to be blessed! It takes only those who are willing to achieve greatness to not be dissuaded by the price of their dreams. For such persons, no amount is too big, no sacrifice is too much for them to achieve success.
They are constantly compelled to challenge their fears, confront oppositions, and surmount hurdles that stands their way to victory. Inflation may escalate the price of their dreams, yet they are constantly driven towards hope.
If you are the kind of person who desperately need to attain your goals, there’s definitely no price that can be too much to pay. There’s is certainly no intimidation, opposition or criticism that can stop you from achieving a noble end, if indeed it means the world to you.
I know you were seriously challenged last year. Perhaps, your inability to achieve your goals was due to a constant inner defeat arising from your deflated ego or inferiority complex. You may even have failed because you didn’t get the applause or approval of men to cheer you up in the course of pursuing your goals.
From the words of Dale Tu, “Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born. There is no better time than now. Step out of hopelessness; put on courage as a garment and pursue a noble cause. There is beauty in every age. Start now, yes, right away!
“Keep your heart open to dreams. For as long as there’s a dream, there is hope, and as long as there is hope, there is joy in living.” —Unknown Author. You still got breadth, keep moving. The wind cannot defeat a tree with strong roots. Be rooted in God, your creator, and you will achieve your divine purpose.
Because you’re not talented enough, tall enough, or big enough is not enough reasons for you to abandon your aspirations. If you are indeed hungry for success, true success, then pay the sacrifice that is due it.
Hey, don’t take off your crown because somebody thinks it is not good on you. Wear your crown!
